The Fall Cross Country MileSplit USA All-Americans

2ND TEAM

- - -

1. Katherine Lee, Shoreham-Wading River (NY), senior

The Georgetown signee finished her career off in style, claiming a fourth-place effort at Foot Locker Nationals in 17:38.30. She was second at Foot Locker Northeast, claimed her second Class B title in New York, and was first at Section 11 and Section IX Division.

2. Jacqueline Gaughan, Exeter (NH), senior

The Notre Dame recruit was fifth overall at Foot Locker Nationals in 17:44.60, third at Foot Locker Northeast, first at the New Hampshire Meet of Champions -- her second straight win there -- and first at New Hampshire's Divisional Championships. She also set a career best of 16:48.29 at the Brown Northeast Invitational on October 14.

3. London Culbreath, McKinney South (TX), sophomore

The sophomore dominated Texas all year long, claiming a UIL 6A title in a season best of 16:56.00, won Region 5A-2, District 5A-14, and the Nike South Invitational. While she raced disappointedly at NXN, where she finished 31st, Culbreath went for a big race against Tuohy, and there's something to be said about having that kind of bravery in a big race. She was also first at NXR south in 17:33.55.

4. Brooke Rauber, Tully (NY), freshman

Rauber was the breakout freshman of the season nationally, finishing sixth at NXN, and second at NXR New York. She won her second straight Class D state title in New York and posted three 5K times under 18 minutes this season.

5. Sydney Thorvaldson, Rawlins (WY), freshman

Like Rauber, Thorvadlson really etched her name on the national scene this season, posting some impressive performances in Wyoming as she earned her first state title on October 21 in 17:49.31. She was third at NXR Northwest and ninth at NXN, earning her first All-American bid.

6. Anna Fenske, Farmington (MN), freshman

The freshman finished 10th at NXN, improving 12 spots from 2016, and was third at NXR Heartland (17:05.14), second at the Class AA state championships in Minnesota (17:34.80) and first at the Minnesota Section 1AA Championships (17:24.90). She also was third at Roy Griak and first at the South Suburban Conference Championship.

7. Tierney Wolfgram, Math & Sciences Academy (MN), freshman

The freshman had a breakout campaign, finishing seventh at Foot Locker Nationals, 27th at NXN, ninth at Foot Locker Midwest, and first at NXR Heartland, going a career best 16:48.67. Wolfgram also won her first Class A state title in Minnesota, was first at Section 4A and first at Twin Cities Conference. Her national performances were the first of her career.
