The Top Five Women's Recruiting Classes Of The Early Signing Period

Future Texas Longhorn Kynnedy Flannel discusses her victory in the 200M dash at New Balance Nationals Outdoor in June.

#4: University of Texas

Recruits: Amoi Brown, Olivia BuntinKynnedy Flannel, Beth RamosKennedy Simon, Valery Tobias, Sanique Walker

The Skinny: With the Jamaican imports Walker and Brown, the Longhorns' recruiting class might be the most intriguing in the nation. Walker is the top-ranked 400M hurdler in the world in the class of 2018, and Brown has run 13.33 for the 100M hurdles, which puts her ahead of every American returner not named Tia Jones. On the domestic side, Flannel is the reigning 200M dash champion at New Balance Nationals Outdoor and is also a Texas state champ in the long jump. Meanwhile, Simon has run a blazing 52.94 for 400M and is a four-time state champion in Georgia. I for one cannot wait to watch the Longhorns' 4x400M relay next spring.
