Compare Athletes: The Nation's Best XC Talents Head-to-Head

While we likely won't see the top two girls runners going head-to-head this postseason at either NXN or Foot Locker Nationals -- Tuohy has said she will run NXN, while Lane has confirmed she will compete at Foot Locker Nationals -- that doesn't make the argument of "best girls cross country runner of 2017" any easier. 

We can, however, look at this matchup from a purely numerical sense, including factors of time, age, class (grade) and events. Our Flo50 rankings have Tuohy as the No. 1 runner right now, while Lane is No. 2. But that can be debated.
