Titiana Marsh Commits To The University of Georgia

One of the best all-time triple jumpers, Titiana Marsh from Thomas Dale school in Chester, Virginia, has committed to the University of Georgia. Marsh holds the Virginia state record indoor for the triple jump with her mark of 42 feet, 4 inches, from the VHSL Group 6A state indoor track and field championships.

Her personal best mark outdoors is 43 feet, 5 inches, from last spring. She jumped that to win the VHSL Group 5A/6A state outdoor track and field championships. That mark ranked third at the end of last season and second among returners.

Marsh is also a stellar long jumper who has gone 20 feet, 2.75 inches, outdoors. She was the VHSL Group 5A/6A state outdoor track and field championships with that mark and then went on to finish third at New Balance Nationals Outdoor jumping 19 feet, 9.5 inches. Marsh is a six-time VHSL Group 5A/6A state outdoor track and field championship winner with three triple jump titles and three long jump titles and a four-time VHSL Group 6A state indoor track and field championships winner with three triple jump titles and one long.

She adds to a strong group of athletes joining the Dawgs already this year, including Germantown Academy's (PA) Kyle Garland for multi-events and Milton (GA) Nicholas Yanek in distance events. Not to mention this year's University of Georgia's freshman class which has Agoura's (CA) Tara Davis, and Pike High School's (IN) Lynna Irby.
