Exiting the back hills, past the bridge and toward the flats, runners find a huge descent that signals the beginning of the end of the VCP course.  

In that last 400 meter stretch, however, it's important to keep focused on the finish. With each critical place across the line meaningful, a strong close ultimately separates a good team outing from a great one. 

And this is where the Hornets' experience comes into play significantly. 

From its first scoring runner to its fifth -- and even to its sixth and seventh -- FM never lets off the gas and bursts through the line, culminating in their best finish in years in the Eastern States Championship.
