Katelyn Tuohy was absolutely dominating on Saturday in the C Race at the Manhattan Invitational, breaking a two-year old record by Jessica Lawson in 2015 by posting a extraordinary effort of 13:21.8 in the 4K at Van Cortlandt Park.
She became just the fifth girl all-time to go under 14 minutes on the famed 100-year-old course.
Tuohy destroyed Lawson's old mark of 13:53 on a solo effort and likely will generate an all-time great speed rating -- Lawson's old mark was over 171, according to NY MileSplit.
