Analysis: Hart burst on to the scene last year as a freshman, dominating the Illinois High School Association Class 3A regular season, winning her first state title at 3 miles (16:31.00), earning a monster win at the NXN Midwest Region (17:05.00) and then finishing 18th at NXN in Portland, Oregon. A former soccer player, Hart is a rising star with a ton of a potential that you shouldn't miss. She followed in the spring with state titles in the 1600m (4:51.54) and 3200m (10:32.33) and finished sixth at Brooks PR in the 2-mile (10:19.29).
