Homewood-Flossmoor (IL) High graduate Jaimie Robinson, who's headed to the University of Alabama in the fall, blew away competition in the triple jump at the AAU District Qualifier in Illinois in late June, posting a national leading mark of 44-4 (all conditions) across the entire spring season. Robinson went on to win the USA Junior championship in the triple jump the very next week with a wind-legal US No. 1 mark of 43-10.75 and is headed to the Pan American Championships in Peru, which begins Friday, July 21, and goes through Sunday.
