Baylor freshman Maxwell Willis, a Bowie (Md.) High graduate, won the USA Junior Track and Field Championship Men's 100m dash on Friday in Sacramento, booking his trip to the Pan American Championships on July 21-23 in Peru.
The Big 12 Champion scored a time of 10.26 seconds and outpaced the field, including Plantation American Heritage (Fl.) junior Anthony Schwartz, who finished fourth.
The University of Southern California's Tarrick Brock was second in 10.33 seconds.
