Union Catholic (NJ) High senior, Olympian and University of Kentucky signee Sydney McLaughlin is one of the best high school athletes to ever grace a track and field.

She has nearly a handful of national records and too many New Jersey Group Championships to count.

But there's another athlete from California who made some history on Saturday. And if you were to compare anyone to the recent Olympian, it would be Norco (Ca.) High's Shae Anderson.

Anderson, who became the first California girls athlete to double in the 300m hurdles and 400m at the CIF Track and Field Championships, has yet to sign with a college program, but she recently took a visit to the University of Oregon and also is considering the University of Southern California and San Diego State.

While McLaughlin is still the undisputed queen of the track -- and possible the greatest of all-time (GOAT) -- it's interesting to look at perhaps the most versatile athlete next to her on the track.
