Hasani Knight popped off a jump for the record books as his 51-03.25 is a new US #1 mark, a new 6A meet record and a 4 inch PR. Knights leap broke Garry Williams meet record of 49-1.5 that was set just last year in 2016. Last year at the Virgina 6A Championship Knight finished third with a 48-00 jump behind Perry Donkor and Garry Williams. Knight had a tremendous weekend as he also won the long jump in 24-3, won the 100m in 10.78 & took 5th in the 200m with a 21.98.
