Each year, the Great Southwest Classic brings together some of the best athletes from around the country in a mano-a-mano dual across states.
Stanford University athlete and Billings (MT) High graduate Christina Aragon, for example, owns two Great Southwest No. 1s in the 800m and 1-mile run. A year ago, Charles Brockman, of Plano (Tx.) High in Texas, earned the Classic's top all-time effort in the 300m hurdles.
