Jordan Lanning successfully transitioned from 2A to 3A this year. The sky could be the limit next year.
The executive summary for next year with respect to this year's top teams is that Elizabeth and Bayfield lose major chunks of this year's point production to graduation, The Classical Academy and Lutheran lose relatively smaller pieces, and Peak to Peak loses very little of this year's point production.
So, pending what comes in by way of the freshman class--or moving in from other schools--Peak to Peak and The Classical Academy appear to have the inside position heading into next year. Lutheran, Elizabeth, and Bayfield are each within striking range but need to load up their rosters again a bit for next spring if they aim to be as competitive again next year as they were this year.
There are no teams obviously stepping up from this year to next yet, though there's certainly room for that to happen. And, it's almost certain to happen--we just don't know where yet.
