The ladies from Miami North Western (Fl.) High dropped a 45.20 in the 4x100m prelims at the Florida High School Athletic Association's Class 3A Track and Field Championships Friday. The time tops their previous best of 45.46 by 0.26.
The team's time takes over as the new US No. 1 mark. It also drops Texas' Mesquite Horn High down to US No. 2 with its time of 45.27 from the Texas Relays back on April 1.
