This weekend, exclusively on MileSplit, some of the best distance runners in the country will gather to run a fast 1600m at the Distance Night In Palatine. Although this isn't a full mile, these runners are attempting to get as close to four minutes as possible.
Two standouts to look out for are Footlocker runner-up, Finn Gessner & 4:07 miler, Jack Aho.
Finn Gessner has a distance resume as strong as anybody in the country. Gessner owns an 8:47 3200m PB, 4:16 1600m PB and is a two-time Wisconsin XC state champ as well. To go along with his impressive 4:07 1600m PB, Aho is coming off a very strong XC season this fall as he finished 17th at NXN and 18th at the Footlocker National Championship for XC.
