The incomparable Sanya Richards-Ross (pictured), who competed for St. Thomas Aquinas (Fl.) High back in 2002, recorded a time of 50.69 seconds. Girls have been close to capturing a similar, but a few hundredths of a second always seem to be missing. Why? Because Richards-Ross did something special back in 2002.
