Chicago Heights Bloom Township (IL) High senior Jelena Rowe cemented herself as the best indoor high jumper in the state of Illinois when she hit on a US #1 attempt of 6-foot-1 at the Illinois Top Times indoor meet in Bloomington.
The performance was witnessed by a packed house inside of the Shirk Center on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University. Rowe said afterward that she will try to convert on a height of 6-2 over the outdoor season.
