Syaira Richardson of Nansemond River (VA) set meet records in the 4 events which she competed in on Saturday at the Virginia 5A State Meet starting off with winning the long jump with a personal best US #9 leap of 19'11, while dipping under 7 seconds for the first time to take the 55 meter dash finals in a US #9 6.99 clocking. She closed out her state meet running likely the fastest flat track time of the season nationally in the 300 with a US #5 38.26 personal best clocking and anchoring the Nansemond River girls to a US #19 3:54.78 victory in the 4x400.
