Olympian Sydney McLaughlin of Union Catholic, N.J. ran the second-fastest 300m in prep history by clocking 37.11 at the Molloy Stanner Games in New York. The national high school record is 36.96, by Francena McCorory.
McLaughlin has been the No. 2 performer over 300m since 2015, when she set the national sophomore class record of 37.49.
