One of the nation's all-time best high school athletes in Kate Murphy will headline this meet in what is sure to be an epic 3K race vs. North Rockland High's freshman phenom Katelyn Tuohy. Their last meeting was at Nike Cross Nationals, where Tuohy placed 13th and Murphy was 33rd. However, the senior Oregon commit is much more comfortable on the track, where she owns PRs of 4:07 for 1500m and 9:10 for 3K. Tuohy ran 9:48 as an eighth-grader and will be looking to crack Kelsey Chmiel's New York freshman record of 9:41.

U.S. No. 2 ranked 55m sprinter Halle Hazzard is entered in the 55m and 300m. New York's Tai Brown and Oluwatomide Alao will engage in another exciting 55m hurdle dual; both rank in the top 10 nationally.

The girls 4x800m relay will surely produce a national leading time, as two 2016 Penn Relays Carnival champion face off: Penn 4x800m champions Shenendehowa vs. Penn DMR champions Lake Braddock, featuring Murphy. Shenendehowa's star half milers Hannah Reale and Julia Zachgo are also top seeds in the 1K.
