This article kicks off a series that will visit every league, both genders, around the state to take a look at the top 20 returning athletes in each event. Of course, no league scores athletes 20-deep, but by going 20 deep (where that much depth exists) shows us where the vast majority of the potential point-scoring athletes are coming into the spring.

At the bottom of the depth analysis, I'll also add a quick list of the top cross country freshmen from the league so that we have a bit clearer of an idea of how the league's freshmen might shake out in the distance events.
