Three Texas boys finish in the top six
My most shocking moment was seeing three Texas athletes in the Top 6 overall. Not only did they run well above their respective predicted finishes, they proved that the course was not as big a factor in changing the outcome of the race as some may have speculated. For athletes who were not used to the cold, the mud, the rain, they ran well above expectations, proving that fast is fast on any surface.
