Ember Stratton improves from 20th to runner-up in one year
The most shocking moment of NXN for me was seeing Ember Stratton come away with that huge second place finish. After watching her race at the Oregon XC State Championships last year, where she finished second behind Ella Donaghu, I had a feeling she was going to be a great runner. But I thought she wouldn't get to that stage until her junior or senior year. However, she proved me wrong on Saturday. Ember Stratton is the real deal people.
