There's one guy with a target on his back this weekend and his name is Casey Clinger. The No. 1 ranked runner in the nation could be the first athlete to win two Nike Cross Nationals individual titles in the history of the event. He certainly seems to be in better shape than last year --he lowered the Utah state meet course record from 14:52.8 to 14:42.9-- and he's running this one for his team, as the No. 1 ranked Cavemen have a strong shot to win the overall team title.
