Oregon star athlete and US Olympian Devon Allen, who has been a member of the Ducks football team and track team since 2013, has decided to forgo his NCAA eligibility and turn pro in track, according to GoDucks.com.
Allen, whose most recent track meet includes the 2016 Olympic games in Rio where he placed 5th in the final of 110m hurdles, is currently recovering from his second ACL injury -- both of which he injured while playing football for the Oregon Ducks as a wide receiver.
A two-time Outdoor NCAA champion in the 110m hurdles, it is being reported that Allen will continue to train in Oregon and plans to finish his Business Administration degree in 2017.
