A lot can, and will, happen between now and next September when cross country 2017 goes into full swing.

But, 3A Girls doesn't look ripe for a lot of changes. Figure that this year's top teams are back with scoring rosters mostly, or even entirely, intact. It remains to be seen how incoming freshmen might impact the picture, but they'll have to have a substantial impact to override what already seems a given from this year's results of returning runners. In any case, programs like Peak to Peak, The Classical Academy, Steamboat Springs, Elizabeth, and Alamosa figure to be back and at or near the top once again next year. Salida likely has the most rebuilding to do of this year's top teams.
