No. 9 Blacksburg Girls Clean Up At MileStat.com XC Invitational
The No. 9 ranked Blacksburg girls scored just 64 points for the team title at the MileStat.com XC Invitational. Runners-up James Madison scored 179 points and no one else in the field scored less than 200 points. Blacksburg's top runner, Samantha Marin, placed eighth in 17:50 as a total of nine girls broke 18 minutes in the highly competitive field.
Cosby High School sophomore Rachel Northcutt won the individual title in 17:35.
