No. 1 ranked Brie Oakley capped an exciting week by winning the Centennial League Championships title by 69 seconds in 17:28 for 5K. Oakley said after the race that she was running at tempo pace. Runner-up Devon Peterson ran 18:37 and led Cherry Creek to the team title with 49 points. Oakley's Grandview High School took runner-up honor with 51 points.
Oakley committed to Cal-Berkeley earlier this week.
