Who were the fastest high school boys cross country runners across the nation this weekend? We took a look at the top 500 boys 5K and three-mile times... scroll through the slideshow to check it out! Below are a few fun facts about our findings.

  • The top two fastest 5K times this weekend were Brodey Hasty (14:32.2) and D.J. Principe (14:32.4), both of whom ran under the prior course record at the Great American XC Festival in North Carolina. The fastest boys three-miler of the weekend also took down a course record, as Noah Affolder lowered the McQuaid Invitational all-time best to 14:12.7.
  • This weekend on 5K courses saw 18 boys break 15 minutes, 97 boys break 15:30 and 445 boys break 16 minutes. On three-mile courses, 20 boys broke 15 minutes, 113 boys broke 15:30 and 326 boys broke 16 minutes.
  • The weekend's fastest freshman over 5K was Graydon Morris of Aledo High School, who ran 14:58.68 for fifth place at the McNeil Invitational in Texas. The fastest freshman over three miles was John ...
