North Florida's Fastest 5 Girls



The Bale -n- Trail Original in Jacksonville produced our top five boys performances out of North Florida.

Kayley Delay (Senior, Fletcher)

Kayley Delay of Fletcher is ranked 1st in the north Florida area. Delay has started off her senior season strong with a 1st place finish at the Bale-n-Trail. Finishing in a time of 18:40 and running away from the rest of the competition Kayley looks to be gearing toward another successful season. Last year during cross country Delay won her first four races back to back and won six races in total. Last season Delay finished 2nd as a junior at the state meet.


Alyson Churchill (Freshman, Lincoln)

Freshman Alyson Churchill of Lincoln is starting her high school career with success. Ranking 2nd in north Florida, her first cross country 5k was at Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park Tallahassee for the Miller Landing Madness where Alyson ran a 19:20 finishing 10th. One week later Alyson went on to win the Cougar XC Challenge running a new PR of 18:46.

Caitlin Collier (Junior, Bolles)

Bolles Junior Caitlin Collier ranks at number 3. Collier raced a great opener at the Spikes and Spurs Classic winning the race in a time of 18:49. With a 5k PR of 17:41 from last year's Nike Cross Nationals Southeast Regional where she placed 7th Collier has proved her ability to improve throughout the season. Coming off a great track season in the spring where she won both the 800m and 1600m at the state meet lookout for Bolles speedster Caitlin Collier.  

Ally Hajda (Senior, Bolles)

Also from Bolles Senior Ally Hajda ranks fourth after a 2nd place finish at Spikes and Spurs running 19 flat. The two ranking bulldog ladies Ally Hajda and Caitlin Collier ran well together at the meet finishing one and two. Hajda has had good showings in the past where she placed 3rd at both the FHSAA 2A District 4 and 2A Region 1 meets in the 2015 cross country season.

Abbie Harrelson (Niceville, Senior)

Niceville's Senior Abbie Harrelson ranks 5th in north Florida after opening with a first place finish at the Pace Patriot Invitational. At Pace Patriot Abbie won in 19:06 followed by two Niceville teammates all finishing in the top 3. In the spring track season Abbie had some great finishes including finishing 15th a Texas Relays running a PR of 5:07 in the 1600m as well as winning both the 800m and 1600m at the District 22-6A meet. With a 5k PR of 18:28 look for Abbie speeding through the rest of the season.
