Sielle Kearney is off to a strong start this year: her 17:24.2 win to open up at the Benzie Pete Moss Invitational is the nation's second-fastest 5K time this season. The Michigan had a breakout track season that saw her run to runner-up honors in the 1600m (4:56.9 PB) and fourth place in the 3200m (10:39.1 PB) at the Michigan State Championship. She placed fourth at the Michigan State XC Championships and 56th at Foot Locker Midwest in 2015, though she was 30th at the regional meet as a freshman in 2014. We predict she'll be much closer to a top 10 finish in 2016.
