Tannor Wagner's high school career has seen some ups and downs, but he looks poised to return to the top in his senior year. As a freshman, he placed 14th at the Wisconsin state cross country meet, 36th at Foot Locker Midwest, and recorded PBs of 9:39 for 3200m and 4:15 for 1600m. A stress fracture derailed his sophomore year, and anemia plagued his junior cross country season, but he fixed the issue by the spring to run PBs of 1:55.04 for 800m, 4:10.31 for 1600m, 4:12.48 for the mile and 8:57.17 for 3200m. Expect Wagner to dramatically improve on his 168th-place finish from last year's Wisconsin state cross country meet and 132nd-place finish at NXN Heartland in 2015.
