The Woodlands demolished the rest of Texas last year at the state cross country meet. Their runners finished first, second, ninth, 10th, and 11th for a team score of 24. Runner-up Southlake Carroll was 80 points behind with a team total of 104. The Woodlands won the 2015 NXN South Regional meet, and went on to finish sixth at the Nike Cross Nationals meet.
