USC recruit Michael Norman is undefeated in the 200m this year -- even after the first round of the Olympic Trials, where the eighteen-year-old raced Tyson Gay, the American record holder for 100m.
The recent graduate of Vista Murrietta High School in Calif. blitzed the field in 20.06 with a tailwind of 2.8 meters per second to win heat 4 and automatically advance to the semi finals.

Gay took second in 20.36 to also automatically advance to semis.
Norman's time stood as the second-fastest of the session, behind only fellow recent high school grad Noah Lyles' 20.04 (+3.3).
