Casey Clinger, Rylee Bowen Win Arcadia 3200m Races
NXN champion Casey Clinger asserted his dominance over the Arcadia 3200m with a nearly wire-to-wire win in 8:50. The time is a new national leader and personal best.
Two sophomores stole the show in the girls 3200m: Rylee Bowen and Annie Hill, who used late charges to go 1-2 in 10:13.2 and 10:14.
Future Stanford teammates Hannah Debalsi and Fiona O'Keeffe led the field through 800m in 2:31 and 1600m in 5:06, but Bowen, the World Youth steeplechase champion, took control with a definitive kick.
Ten girls ran under 10:30 in what is annually one of the fastest distance races of the year.
