Julia Guerra missed a 'W' in her first event, the 1600m, at the New Jersey Group 3 Championships by less than half a second: she placed runner-up to Christina Rancan, 4:57.04 to 4:57.69. The two met again later in the day in the 3200m along with Foot Locker finalist Alyssa Aldridge, where -- even after she makes a cartoonish, Speedy Gonzalez-esque kick at the bell lap -- Guerra had to look over her shoulder at the line to make sure she won.
