Here's this race in a nutshell: one team overcomes a fifty meter gap to take the lead. And a third time overcomes a fifty meter gap to win that race. I don't want to spoil too much more about the wild girls 4x800 at the Virginia 6A (large schools) indoor state championship. Kate Murphy (first appearance at 5:10) split 2:09 on Lake Braddock's third leg; Rachel McArthur (first appearance at 7:38) split 2:10 on Patriot's anchor leg. McArthur helped Patriot clinch second place at the Virginia state meet in a race you have to see to believe.
