The last time the Opelika (MS) boys ran a 4x200 at the CrossPlex, it was outright lit--Archbishop Carroll won in one of the fastest times in high school history. (Watch video of the race above) Opelika's 1:28.18 from that race is still US #2, giving Mississippi two of the top six 4x200 schools in the country. Oxford's 1:29.09 currently sits at US #6, though they won't race each other as the two schools are in different size divisions.
The girls race features Clinton--another Mississippi school--which is one of only three teams in the US that has broken 1:40. The Clinton girls are ranked third in the country heading into the weekend.
