Best Ways to Spend a Snow Day: Your Snow Running Photos

The Elites

During this weekend's snowstorm that wiped a ton of track action in the northeast and Mid-Atlantic, we asked you for your best snow running pictures and stories. First, a few tales of elites coping with the snow like the rest of us; then, your submissions.

The two most hardcore ones remain Trevor Dunbar's 9:08 3200m time trial in the snow (above) and Kate Murphy shoveling a lane by herself. The latter was featured on the Huffington Post.

Per her
MileSplit profile, Allie Ostrander has lost exactly three cross country races since 2013. Two were to collegians in 2015; in high school, it sure seems like she lost exactly once: to Ella Donaghu on an extremely snowy course at NXN Northwest in 2014.
