The Millrose Games Trials on Wednesday night yielded two more auto bids for the Millrose Games High School Mile, as Jaxson Hoey of Downingtown West, Pa., who won the boys race in 4:12.05 and Diana Vizza of North Shore, N.Y. won the girls race in 4:54.34.
The Millrose Games High School Mile, sponsored by New Balance, will be held as part of the NYRR Millrose Games on Saturday, Feb. 20. The race is traditionally a marquee event of the indoor track season as the top preps in the Northeast warm up alongside professional athletes.
Eight preps will toe the line for the Millrose Games: five are given automatic bids by winning designated races and three are invited. Below is the field thus far:
