The No. 10 ranked Centerville girls rolled through the DI race in scoring 41 points, led by individual champion Lainey Studebaker. Studebaker ran 17:39 to defend her state title and improve her time by 30 seconds over last year, as her support crew all ran under 19 minutes and packed in at 23-26-29-31.
Morgan Gigandet, who defeated Studebaker 17:38 to 18:02 at the region meet last weekend, finished fourth in 18:04.

Another upset occurred in the Girls DII race, as defending champion and senior Dominique Clairmonte of Lexington placed fourth in 18:29. Abby Nichols of Archbishop Alter won in 18:05.

No. 11 ranked Andrew Jordan ran 14:54 to win his first cross country state title in the Boys D1 race, one year after running 15:40 for third. The time stands as an unofficial course record.
The No. 9 ranked St. Ignatius boys took the team title with 66 points over Mason (99 points), led by Luke Wagner in fifth, 15:26.
