Annie Hill set an all-class state record of 16:30.70 for three miles at the University of Montana on Saturday at the to win her second Montana state cross country title.
The time is 41 seconds faster than she ran last year. Hill had more competition this year from Billings senior Christina Aragon, who ran 16:47 for runner-up honors in what is likely also high on the all-time list.
Hill is undefeated this year and has reportedly set some high goals for herself...
Hill after running for an unofficial all-class state record of 16:31: "I want to try to run under 16:00 next year." She's just a sophomore.

In the boys' large schools race, Jake Perrin of Flathead High School ran 14:47 as Aidan Reed of Helena ran to runner-up honors in 14:57.
