No. 18 ranked Courtney Wayment of Davis High School won her first Class 5A state title in on Wednesday afternoon in a time of 17:24.7 for three miles. That stands as the fastest time ever run at Sugar House Park, though the course is slightly different in 2015 due to the construction of a softball field.
Sarah Feeny holds the original course record at 17:25.
