For those new to the procedure, we start in Nevada and work our way counter-clockwise around the region. We don't touch on every meet in the entire region over the weekend (and occasionally back into the week itself), but we do try to touch on the meets with greater significance for regional rankings. The next set of regional rankings will be published on or about September 21.

Larry Burgess Invitational - In the large-school girls race, it was all Centennial. The Bulldogs won with a mere 28 points, leaving Cedar (Utah) back by 50 points in second. On a three-mile course, Centennial led with Alexis Gourrier at 17:34, had two more under 19 minutes, and another two under 20 minutes. That officially makes them a team of no small concern.
