The Bolles girls cross country team will begin their quest for a fourth straight 2A state championship this weekend at the Ridgeview Bob Hans Invitational. The Bulldogs have four girls under 18:45 and should place their top five runners in the top ten spots. Mackenzie Wilson comes in with the fastest time of 18:27, but look for her to be pushed by teammates Ally Hajda, Rachel Shapiro, and Caitlyn Collier. Bertram Trail junior Lauren Stanford will look to break up the quartet. On the boy's side, Gainesville's Blake Lowery (pictured above) is the top individual and defending meet champion. Lowery has a best of 16:06 and will have to fight off challenges from Bertram Trail's Jordan Bubar and Ponte Vedra senior Gavin Gresham. The team title will be tight as well with Bertram, Bishop Kenny, and Bolles separated by twenty points.
