Day 1 Schedule:
Finals in BOLD

AM Session

  • Men's 100m Decathlon - George Patrick places 4th in heat 4 running 11.81(821 points)
  • Men's Shot Put Qualification - Adrian Piperi is the second qualifier out of the prelims with his 19.87 1st attempt throw
  • Men's 100m Heats - Daniel Estrada (10.65) and Micaiah Harris (10.72) both qualify for finals.
  • Men's LJ Decathlon - George Patrick places 2nd with a PR of 7.26m (876 points)
  • Women's Discus Qualification Group A - Samantha Noennig places 13th with her throw of 41.43m
  • Men's 1500m Heats - Phillip Rocha finishes 9th in Heat 1 with his time of 3:58.51
  • Women's HJ Qualification - Madison Yerigan places seventh with 1.73m (5-8) clearance
  • Women's 100m Hurdles Heats - Alexis Duncan qualifies out of heat 1 in a World Youth Leading 13.13. Brittley Humphrey takes 2nd in heat 4 with a PR of 13.47 to qualify.
  • Women's Discus Qualification Group B - Josephine Schaefer places fourth, advances with best throw of 46.59m
  • Men's 400m Heats - Josephus Lyles (46.26) and Keshun Reed (46.98) each win heats and advance, as does Jamal Walton of Florida in 47.35 while competing for the Cayman Islands
  • Men's Shot Put Decathlon - George Patrick throws for 15.54m (50-11.75) to score 823 points and place seventh; he is in third at the conclusion of the morning session
  • Men's LJ Qualification - Justes Nance jumps 7.62m (25-0) to place third in Group 'B' and advance; Denzel Harper jumps 6.90m (22-7.75) places 13th in Group 'A'
  • Women's 400m Heats - Lynna Irby (53.49) and Symone Mason (54.41) each win heats and advance

PM Session

  • Men's HJ Decathlon- George Patrick Jumps a PR of 1.96m ( 767points) to place second in Group B.
  • Women's Javelin Qualification Group A- Sophia Rivera places third in heat one and advances with her qualifying throw of 52.21m (171.293).
  • Men's 400m Hurdles Heats- Cory Poole places 2nd in his heat (52.98) while Norman Grimes takes his heat ( 50.95). Both Qualify for the semis.
  • Women's 400m Hurdles Heats- Sydney McLaughlin (56.81) and Brandee Johnson ( 59.23) each win their respective heat and advance.
  • Women's Javelin Qualification Group B - Katelyn Gochenour places 4th in heat 2 with her 51.76m throw to grab a spot in the finals.
  • Men's 100m Semi-Final - Daniel Estrada runs a PR of 10.60 to place 3rd in his heat while Micaiah Harris runs a PR of 10.67 to place 6th in his heat.
  • Women's 2k Steeple Heats- Rylee Bowen places 6th( 6:59.30) in heat 2 to grab the first non auto qualifying spot.
  • Men's Shot Put- Adrian Piperi throws a World Youth Leading 22.00m to take the gold. Isaiah Rogers takes 10th place throwing 19.28m
  • Men's 400m Decathlon- George Patrick runs 50.54(790points) to place second in his heat
  • Men's 800m Heats- Connor Dunne places 4th in his heat running 1:53.60 while Cameron Cooper place 3rd in his heat running 1:53.04. Both advance to the finals
  • Women's Discus- Josephine Schaefer throws 48.99m (160-8.75) to place fifth
  • Women's 3000m- Destiny Collins runs 10:21.36 to place 16th
