Top to bottom, you can make an excellent case for the Tri-Peaks being the toughest league in 3A Boys cross country. And, this looks like a better year than most for this league.

Lamar - The Savages return a solid scoring five in Kaleb Crum, Blake Davis, Jake Rogers, and Cole Hiigel. All five were deep into the 17s, or faster, last fall. As if that weren't enough, Wyatt Lehr and Derek Oxley dropped below 11 minutes for the 3200 this spring. Somewhere, all these guys missed the message that it's too hot out in Lamar to enjoy running.
