12. Chris McBride (GA) - Boys Long Jump Champion
Chris McBride had been battling injuries down the final stretch of the outdoor season, but the two-time Georgia state champ found enough within to muster a new personal best leap of 25'1.25" to win the New Balance Nationals outdoor boys long jump. Slightly wind-aided at a +2.6 reading, McBride had another jump in the series which was wind legal at 24'11" to make him the US #4 ranked competitor this spring in the event.
McBride is headed to Clemson University in the fall and will be looking to improve upon on his full one foot PR in Greensboro from this past weekend.
