All-Americans Wanted In NB Nationals Girls Shot Put

The girls shot put at New Balance Outdoor Nationals features U.S. No. 2 Nickolette Dunbar from Wippany Park HS in New Jersey. She set her PR of 52-2.75 at the New Jersey state meet earlier this month and looks to build on that mark this weekend. She finished third at NBN indoors this winter and has not lost in a competition since.

Also in the field is the Illinois state champ in Kathleen Young. The U.S. No. 4 thrower has also broken 50' with her 50-10 PR mark. This sophomore finished 11th at NBNO her freshman year and fourth at NBN indoors this past winter. Behind her is a solid field of girls looking to set PR's.
