Eaton captured a state title this year and it looks like they'll start the season at the front of the line for another one next year. Although Eaton didn't come out of commencement exercises unscathed, they certainly didn't take the kind of hits at graduation that a lot of their closest rivals did.
Moffat County, Platte Valley, and Lamar check in closest to the Reds, but none of the three have the kind of ability to score points across the board that Eaton has. There is much catching up to be done between now and March of next year.
